Spoonk acupressure mat reviews
Spoonk acupressure mat is a product that is very useful to have. The truth is that I don’t use it as often as I should but I sure do love it.
It has helped me out many times when I had neck pain and couldn’t move my head to one side. These conditions were occurring often when I was working as a waitress and carrying things all day. Without using the mat it could take up to 7 days to recover and feel normal again, while when using the mat, twice per day, it took just 3-4 days to recover.
Another use that I have heard about, but never tried, is that it helps reduce the cellulite. The explanation is that it improves the blood circulation and that leads to cellulite reduction. If you have tried this out I would love to hear about it. You can leave a comment in the end of this article.

Origin. Acupressure mats originate thousands of years back from the traditional east Asian medicine.
Laying on the mat stimulates your blood circulation and releases endorphins.
How to use it
There are many ways of using the Spoonk mat.
- Laying on your back
- Laying face down
- Laying with your cheek on it (cover your ear during this position)
- Standing on it
About the duration, you should read the instructions on the product.
I started with 5min the first times and increased gradually.
Now that my body is used to it, when laying on my back, the time is not more than 40min; laying face down, on my abdomen, I use it for about 20min, and when I lay with my cheek on it, just for 5min.
When I started using it I used a cloth because it was painful. After the first week, I laid on it with my bare skin.
Be careful because it’s very easy to scrap yourself against the stimulation points either when moving it or when you lay down on it or when attempting to get up.
Be sure it’s out of reach from small children.
If you are interested in buying a Spoonk mat, I suggest you buy the Economy Line/”Spoonk cotton mat” (pink) or the Premium Line/”Spoonk organic hemp” (green).
Both comes with the “Spoonk travel size mat/pillow”. The Spoonk mat alone might be too short.
You can use the travel size mat as in the picture on the left and use it on your neck, or unfold it, like in the picture on the right, and place it on your pillow.
